Sales Executives

Sales Executives required to join a dynamic sales team to sell our ticketing solution to new customers across a number of business sectors in the UK. The successful candidates will be based in either the Central London office or Manchester office and will report to the UK Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation via telephone calls and emails
  • Developing relationships with potential customers
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Providing product information and pricing
  • Arranging sales meetings for new business
  • Meeting with prospect customers as required
  • Documenting and reporting on sales prospects
  • Closing Deals
  • Measured on sales success

Candidate
Ideally candidates will have a strong track record and at least two years experience of sales in a ticketing sector, will be enthusiastic and energetic and will be able to work within a competitive sales environment. The candidate will be educated at least to GCE A-Level or equivalent and ideally to degree level. Knowledge of our main target markets and contacts within those markets will be a big advantage as will experience of sales within a leading UK ticketing company.

Product
The company provides an end to end ticketing solution for internet and mobile internet ticket sales. The solution allows event organisers and venues to set up and manage ticketing for their events. Tickets are issued as e-tickets and m-tickets providing ease of use and access for both event attendees and organisers.

Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
As an Account Manager you will responsible for all daily contact with customers. The main responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and prioritise all customer contact with the aim of achieving agreed business goals including managing costs and increasing revenue
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio according to agreed market development strategy
  • Work in tandem with the Sales Team to promote and manage the product and services mix with customers to optimise revenues, quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Use customer contact activities tools and systems and update relevant information held on these systems
  • Act as a sounding board and support resource for customer queries covering ticket sales, promotion and communication
  • Ensure customers are fully integrated into and using all our services
  • Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the events
  • Visit customers as and when necessary
  • Record, analyse, report and administer according to corporate systems and requirements including keeping management informed of progress and development through periodic reports
  • Attend training sessions to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
  • Report to Operations Manager

Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Educated to degree (or equivalent) standard
• Preferable with ticketing from major ticketing supplier and/or event background as supplier or buyer to event industry
• At least two years’ proven sales experience / account management in an office environment
• Results driven with winning and competitive mentality
• Persistent
• Can work independently for periods of time whilst also being a team player
• Work in fast moving and competitive environments
• Show initiative and thought leadership
• Have strong affinity with and knowledge of events and the entertainment/music sector
• Be interested in and familiar with all event, music and ticket websites
• Be a digital media user
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software
• Personable
• Good sense of humour
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Other languages are a plus

Location
Central London – some travel will be required.
