Celebrating Passions: Weird and Wonderful Fairs and Exhibitions

When people talk about the \”events industry\”, they could be referring to many different things – maybe it\’s gigs and festivals or, at the other end, trade shows or client conferences. We\’re fortunate to work across a vast range of event types, and one area we\’re getting increasingly involved with is fairs and exhibitions.

We’ve a lot of time for diverse, eclectic interests here at ticketscript. It’s one reason we’re especially drawn to fairs and exhibitions – they’re a wonderful celebration of people’s passions and we love to be a part of that.

Of course, we can’t work with *every* fair and exhibition in the world, but that doesn’t stop us learning about and appreciating them.

We’ll be posting some of the great clubs, communities, societies and othe projects we come across which bring people together through a shared passion.

It could be within agriculture, food and drink, weddings, books, arts and crafts, home and garden, anything at all – we’re discovering that there is a group for just about everything, and often an accompanying event too!

We’d love to hear the things you come across too, so always feel free to tweet us @ticketscript or share on our Facebook page.

To whet your appetite for the kind of thing we’re talking about, how about THIS for an eccentric one – The Alresford Watercress Festival 2014 took place just a couple of weeks ago. See, a passion for watercress, how about that?
