Change The Price Of Tickets

Sometimes it’s necessary to change the price of a ticket after it’s gone on sale. Luckily with the ticketscript system this doesn’t need to be a headache! Follow our guide to quickly get your new ticket prices live.

  1. Log into your Dashboard, click on Events and click on the pencil icon to the right of your event.
  2. Click on the Tickets tab and duplicate all of the information from your original ticket, except the price, into a new ticket type. Add your new ticket price and click the Add button.
  3. Click Save to move to the Sales Channels page. On this page you can take the old ticket off sale by setting it’s status to OFF. Also, ensure that your new ticket type’s status is ON.
  4. Click Save and then Finish on the next page to save the changes you have made.

Your new ticket with will now appear in your ticket shop. Your ticketshop will now display the new ticket price, whilst displaying all of the duplicated information from the previous ticket type. Remember to upload the same image on this new ticket as you did for the original.

You’re probably wondering why you can’t just delete or edit the old ticket right? Well the answer to that is quite simple! So you can see exactly how your ticket sales have performed once a ticket type has sold at least one ticket it is locked in.

Using the ticketscript ticket sale reports you’ll now be able to see exactly how many tickets you sold at the original price, and how many additional tickets at the new price.
