ticketscript challenges industry norms with bold rebrand

London, 25 September 2013 – ticketscript, Europe’s largest self-service digital ticketing solution, has evolved its logo, branding and website, signifying a new era for the company. The new branding, website overhaul and mission statement comes as a result of the company’s 91% y-o-y growth.

The rebrand comes at a time when the ticketing industry is at a tipping point and ticketscript is leading the way by giving promoters the right tools and insight to ensure their event is a success. ticketscript’s fundamental belief that if organisers have full control over their data, their events will see an increase in ticket sales, community and revenue, is mirrored in its new strapline of ‘sell more’.

Frans Jonker, chief executive officer, ticketscript said: “Since the launch in 2006, ticketscript has successfully challenged the conventional ways of ticketing and changed perceptions of how it should be done. Everyone who has access to the internet, uses social media and has a mobile phone knows these avenues are the easiest and most effective way to market and sell their tickets.

“We believe in empowering our customers and giving them full control of all their data so whether it is Secret Cinema, MTV, Southport Air Show, Brighton Pride or our thousands of other customers – we know they succeed because they are in total control of their ticketing, using our solution. It’s our business to grow other peoples’ businesses.”

ticketscript’s bold move to challenge the industry norm is evident throughout the new look. Created by Big Cat, the central colour of blue is much brighter on all branding. Visitors to are greeted with an easy-to-scroll layout, suitable for mobile devices or desktops, with images reflecting the concept of being lost in a moment at an event. The copy is no-nonsense with bold typographic statements reflecting a tongue-in-cheek, personal tone.

Jenni Young, chief marketing officer, ticketscript said: “We are doing things differently in the industry, especially in the UK, so it was imperative that our branding reflected this. We are dedicated to helping our customers ‘sell more’ so we’re proud that this phrase stands clear and strong in all our branding. Everything we do is about reinforcing our commitment to our customers and our conviction that, with ticketscript, you can take the success of your events to the next level.”

Jonker continues: “We want our customers to succeed, and with their growth, we succeed. We’re the biggest and most successful self-ticketing digital solution in Europe with our UK business seeing a 91% growth in the last year alone.

“The traditional agency model is on its knees. In the same way that the internet had a devastating impact on the high-street record store and the traditional record company model, it is now turning up the heat on the traditional ticket industry model. The way customers buy tickets and clients want to run their event has already changed and this will only continue.”
