London, United Kingdom – ticketscript, Europe’s leading self-service digital ticketing solution, has appointed Nick Wells as Country Director UK to lead the Commercial team – comprising of the Sales and Account Management teams – to further build and manage the business’ client portfolio within the UK.
Wells joins with vast commercial experience, having held a number of senior roles across the media landscape in the last 15 years in companies such as Capital Radio, talkSPORT and Perform Group. He also has both event and ticketing experience, having owned a successful live arena based events company that provided consumers with a unique fusion of entertainment and sport.
Wells’ appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion within ticketscript. Earlier this year, the company announced a £7m investment from FF&P Private Equity to support its ambitious international growth plans. In 2013, the company’s stand-alone growth increased a further 49% and provided its solution to over 25,000 events.
